Blind until the exam
There is no signal of who understands what while it can still be corrected. The gap surfaces at the term exam, when it is already too late to act on it.
Edu OS is Quintuple's institutional platform for schools, colleges, and universities: a DPDP-native operating system with a live student-learning persona already deployed as MindFleet Academy.
Institutions are often operationally blind to who is learning what, now. And effective support is still priced as a luxury.

Genuine preparation has meant private coaching at ₹10,000–50,000 a month — out of reach for many learners. That is an equity failure, not an efficiency one.
An LMS files documents and tracks clicks. It cannot tell whether a concept was understood, adapt when it wasn't, or ground an answer in the certified curriculum.
A chatbot pulling from the open web ignores the curriculum canon, cannot cite institutional sources, and will confidently answer what it should refuse. Ungoverned intelligence is a liability, not a tutor.
Edu OS is the governed education operating system serving schools, colleges, and universities. Its first built persona is student learning: MindFleet Academy, where the live Governance-First Programme runs. The same governed platform extends to learners, parents, educators, institutions, and public education stakeholders across the wider education system. The operating context changes by institution; the governance method remains invariant.
Understanding first, verified before progression — and un-gameable by construction.
An adaptive tutor builds genuine understanding; a study-verification gate then blocks progression until the concept is grasped. Progress is earned, not clicked through.
A failed concept re-teaches that concept alone — not the whole module. The path adapts to the student's actual gap.
Verification is written to an append-only ledger the database will not let you rewrite. The teacher-in-the-loop is a hard invariant, not an optional setting.
MindFleet Academy is where the platform's governed tutoring and mastery progression are experienced by learners.
Every answer is grounded in the certified curriculum corpus with its source, not summarised from the open web.
If the curriculum does not hold the answer, the tutor states its boundary rather than inventing one. Abstention is a feature, not a failure.
It probes for understanding, switches method on a miss, re-teaches, and escalates to the teacher after a bounded cycle.
Every signal it reads is about mastery of a concept — never a psychological, behavioural, or emotional inference about the child.
Early-stage engagement with state education stakeholders — pilot discussions in progress, not yet confirmed.
Row-level security and privileged chokepoints separate every school's data at the database. One school's children are structurally unreachable from another's.
Learning verification is written to an append-only ledger the database will not permit to be edited or deleted.
A deliberately-wrong query for another school's children is refused by the database — not filtered by the app. The answer to any auditor is: the database makes it impossible.
Institutions and authorised public stakeholders see aggregate, de-identified outcome intelligence where appropriate — not unrestricted personal records. Educators see the learners they are responsible for; parents see the learner they support; public systems receive only the governed aggregate view required for planning. Permitted: mastery state, assessment outcomes, and progress against the curriculum. Prohibited by construction: psychological, behavioural, or emotional inference, monitoring, profiling, or targeting.
Who holds the data, where it runs, and what the approach rests on.
The institution is the Data Fiduciary; Quintuple is the Data Processor under a written DPA. Consent flows through the institution — DPDP-native by architecture.
Production compute runs in-region (India); the database is already in-region. Data does not have to leave its jurisdiction to be served.
The approach rests on Bloom's 2-sigma, the 2025 Harvard RCT on adaptive tutoring, and mastery-learning literature — measured by concept-mastery gains and time-to-mastery, never engagement analytics.
MindFleet Academy is the live student-learning experience of Edu OS. The platform is free to enter; institutions should discuss pilots and deployment across their wider education context.
